How did the Salon Make it's way from a dream to REALITY!
My dream for over 20 years was to have a full service personal services business which included hair/nail and personal consulting services to a diverse population of women. When I completed High School I began college like many people putting my "dream job" to the side to pursue more foundational work to utilize my influencing sale skills. I received my Bachelor's degree in Marketing at Morgan State University and continued to pursue informal coaching and feedback to my peers and teammates regarding their overall appearance and how to "play up" their best features.
Fast forward to 2004 - 2005, I began to visualize the location, features, services, staff, and vision of the salon. I made a decision in October of 2005 to move forward with my dream and worked for a period of time to learn more about the industry and the market in Richmond. Specifically, what is missing for women seeking exceptional Customer Service in a full service salon?
Renaissance 1213 Salon and Spa was born on September 1, 2006
and opened on November 11, 2006.

| In order to be part of this professional team of stylist and technicians each team member must be interviewed by several individuals and they have to "audition" demonstrating their services to ensure quality and detail. Included in my commitment to growth of the team is ongoing training and education of each team member. We focus on providing a warm, inviting and professional environment. The salon is newly renovated with customized salon stations along with a personalized pedicure room for full privacy and "quiet" |
